I am married and a mom of two grown children. I have spent the last 13 years supporting small business owners while they grow incredible businesses. I love sharing my knowledge. I hope it helps other small business owners and entrepreneurs tap into their own potential.

In the late 1990′s, I began helping small business owners who were struggling to get their administrative activities (non-profit-making activities!) accomplished. I realized most of them struggled because they didn’t have the staff, time, money or know-how to get these tasks done, let alone have time to think about how to expand their business using the Internet and social media. My business model evolved, and in 2005, I began filling a need helping small business owners generate income via a Web site and promoting it using the Internet.

Today, there are even more ways to have an online Web presence beyond just having a Web site. There are many low-cost or free ways for you to expand your reach on the World Wide Web.

I feel uniquely qualified because I am a small business owner too. I’m self-taught in everything that I do. I feel this is the best way for me to learn things at my pace and make them my own.

Some of my experience comes from a background that includes customer service (receptionist); store owner retail sales (new clothing); store manager (resale and thrift clothing) and small business administrative support services.

Today, my small businesses tackle Internet marketing services and consulting (only on a strategic partnership level), writing and blogging for a gardening magazine, maintaining an Italian cooking/recipes Web site, and hosting small group culinary tours to a cooking school in Tuscany.

Two other areas of experience that not many people know about me:
(1) I was a flight attendant
(2) I owned and operated a car wash/detail business with my husband
